FIRE TRAINING COURSES

Below is a basic description of the level of each course, suitability, duration and content. For a more detailed description of the course content please click on the syllabus links on the left.

Fire Awareness Course - a requirement for all staff, this 1.5 hour course is an entry level course for the workplace. The course covers Fire Statistics and legislation, employee responsibilities, common causes of fire, basic prevention, types of fire Fire fighting equipment, identifying hazards, Risk Assessment and evacuatons and is instructor assessed. Maximum of 30 candidates per course (subject to space), price includes certificate of attendance. N.B there is NO practical Fire Extinguisher use on the above course

Fire Warden Training course / Fire Marshal Training Course – this is a half day (4 hour) course. This course is suitable for the legally required “nominated” persons in the workplace, charged with specific fire duties including assisting the “responsible person”. Ther course includes...

The Fire Warden / Marshal course is assessed via a Trainer assessed practical and a Multiple choice quiz. Maximum of 15 candidates per course (subject to space). Course price includes course documentation and certification (valid for 3 years).

Fire Extinguisher Use – this is 1 hour practical workshop and can be delivered as stand alone session, a recap for Fire Warden / Marshals or in conjunction with the Fire Awareness course above. Maximum of 15 candidates per course (N.B multiple courses can be run per day). Course price includes course certificate of attendance.
